ENCORE making a splash at Ocean Energy Europe 2021

On Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th December, the ENCORE partnership joined Ocean Energy Europe 2021 in Brussels, the largest gathering of ocean energy professionals organised by Ocean Energy Europe, the industry association representing ocean energy in Europe.

During this two-day event ENCORE partners met with innovative technology developers, industry actors and EU and national level decision-makers. Bluespring presented the 4 pilots from the project to show how innovations are brought to market and how to involve the supply chain. Teamwork Technology showed their Symphony Wave Power device and shared the value of having MultiMetaal on board as a strategic investor with experience in working offshore under the highest standards. At the tidal technology showcase, Water2Energy presented their dam-integrated solution, showing how climate change mitigation meets climate change adaptation.

Meanwhile, the Exhibition was the perfect place for interesting encounters with other professionals in the offshore renewable energy sector and to show other project developments, such as the e-learning modules by Deftiq and the support services provided by other partners.
