ENCORE took part in the Blue Science&Technology Summer Training, organised in Ostend by Marine@UGent. This two weeks training immersed participants in marine and maritime topics and introduced key components to build strong foundations for a sustainable blue economy.
In addition to a number of guest lectures by Ghent University, Bluespring and Teamwork Technology, a full-day networking event was organised at the end of the training. This event brought together over 60 young professionals, industry actors and academics to discuss opportunities & challenges for offshore renewable energy, followed by a matchmaking lunch and job fair.

ENCORE was present at Seanergy 2021 in Nantes, at the Bureau Veritas booth in the Conference Exhibition. As part of the official Pitch Program project partners Bureau Veritas and Inyanga Maritime gave a presentation on "Advancing four offshore renewable energy solutions: risk and reliability management from design to installation".
Partners also participated in the Interreg projects networking event, a nice opportunity to meet stakeholders that are accelerating the marine renewable energy sector by supporting technology companies to develop their innovative solutions.
On 26 & 27 October 2021 the Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC) took place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The OEEC is Europe’s leading event for the entire offshore energy industry, connecting the maritime and offshore world for sustainable solutions. The ENCORE project had a strong presence at the Marine Energy Pavilion, hosted by Dutch Marine Energy Centre (DMEC), showcasing the marine energy innovations developed by the project partners. There were lots of opportunities to discuss collaboration between the marine energy sector and the offshore and supply chain industries, such as discussion tables and marine energy contributions to talk shows.
ENCORE partners Inyanga Maritime Ltd. and EMEC hosted a side event during the European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference 2021 in Plymouth. The aim of this hybrid session was to briefly present the ENCORE project to attendees and explore collaborative opportunities with the four ENCORE technology developers Teamwork Technology, EEL Energy, Oceans of Energy and Water2Energy.
